ABOUT RIVERTOWNS WRESTLING CLUB
Rivertowns Wrestling Club is a charter club of USA Wrestling, founded in 2018. Our goal is to provide opportunities for wrestlers in the lower Hudson River Valley. Our practices are held at Farragut Middle School in Hastings on Hudson, NY.
We began with a youth program in 2018-19, and grew in 2019-2020. We suspended practice during the pandemic, but are resuming in December 2022.
COACHES
DAVID BARTLETT BATES
Dave is a Bronze Certified Coach through the National Coaches Education Program of USA Wrestling. He competed at Wesleyan University, where he was twice NCAA Scholar All-American.
ERIC EYGES
Eric was a standout at Dobbs Ferry High School where he was an All-Section wrestler. He was a member of the Penn State University wrestling team and now resides in Dobbs Ferry.
BEN KAROL
Ben has been head wrestling coach at Irvington High School for the past 9 years. This season he takes over the program at White Plains High School.
